Hey All!


I've launched a blog if you haven't noticed. 

Canadian Youth/Junior Team.

I hope to keep anyone who's interested in the sport up to date with my training, accomplishments and any other miscellaneous, interesting that goes on in my life. So far in the season I've been to Nove Mesto Na Morave, Czech Republic to compete at the Youth World Championships, by far the biggest event in my career so far. Racing in Europe was both challenging and amazing and competing for Canada confirmed that I want to train for biathlon for years to come. 

I also competed at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax. This was a big deal for me as I had to race up TWO AGE GROUPS to qualify for a spot, beating out some really great guys to make the team. While in Halifax I managed to rack up four medals, a gold, silver, and two bronze. I had the best performance in the country apart from teammate Scott Gow. Next to come in the year is cross country ski nationals in Canmore where I'll compete in three events. After that team Alberta will head off to Charlo, New Brunswick for the Canadian National Championships which double as qualifiers for the Youth Olympic Team. As you can tell , it's all really exciting stuff and I can't wait to finish the year on a high note!
